But in relation to the other places in Tarbert it is really OK. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, the staff helpful and friendly. The showers could be a bit bigger for tall or big people, but the were fine.
The breakfast is standard for Scotland. Positive to mention the Full Scottish and the scrambled eggs with salmon. One day the wait was a bit long.
One night we had dinner in the embedded Sea Bed restaurant. If I had to rate that by itself it would probably be a 2 star rating. The burger was cold with nothing on it. The chips tasted moldy. Cullen Skink was more like a potato soup than anything else.
But overall I really liked the hotel. If you have a chance get a room with a view to the port - that's really lovely and unique.
